Terms of Service

SpinAndWheel for Google Meet™ · Last updated: October 3, 2026

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using SpinAndWheel for Google Meet™ (the "Add-on"). They supplement the Terms and Conditions of spinandwheel.com, which continue to apply to the website. Where the two differ for the Add-on, these Terms prevail.

Interpretation and Definitions

Acknowledgment

These Terms govern Your use of the Service and form the agreement between You and the Company. By installing, opening or using the Add-on You agree to these Terms and to Our Privacy Policy. If You do not agree, do not use the Service.

You represent that You are at least 18 years old, or that You use the Service under the supervision and with the permission of Your organisation, school or a parent or guardian who accepts these Terms on Your behalf.

The Service

The Add-on lets meeting participants configure a random wheel in the Google Meet™ side panel and spin it together: everyone who joins the activity sees the same wheel and can spin and edit it, unless the participant who started the activity locks it. It has no accounts. During an activity the wheel is kept in a shared room on Google's Firebase™ service, which is deleted when the activity is ended (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for what You put on a wheel that others in the meeting can see and change. The Service is provided free of charge. We may add, change or remove features at any time.

Google Services

The Add-on runs inside Google Meet™ and is distributed through the Google Workspace™ Marketplace. Your use of Google Meet™, Google Workspace™ and Your Google™ Account is governed by Google's terms and policies, not by these Terms. We do not control Google's services, their availability, or the rules Your Google Workspace™ administrator applies to add-ons, and We are not responsible for them.

The optional Use current participants feature accesses the Google Meet™ API with Your permission. You may withdraw that permission at any time in Your Google™ Account settings. Our use of data received from Google APIs is described in the Privacy Policy and complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. In particular You agree not to:

You are responsible for the content You put on the wheel and for what You share with other meeting participants.

Randomness and Results

Spin results are produced by a pseudo-random number generator in Your browser. They are intended for icebreakers, team activities, lunch choices and similar informal decisions. We make no representation that results are cryptographically random, unbiased, auditable or suitable for any use where fairness must be proven, and We accept no responsibility for decisions made on the basis of a spin.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, name and logo, is owned by the Company and protected by copyright and trademark laws. These Terms do not grant You any right to use Our name or logo. The wheel content You create remains Yours; You grant Us no rights in it beyond what is technically necessary to display it in Your browser and deliver it through Google Meet™. The preset wheels bundled with the Add-on may be used freely within the Service.

Google Meet™ and Google Workspace™ are trademarks of Google LLC. They are used in the name and description of the Add-on only to indicate compatibility. SpinAndWheel is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google.

Availability and Support

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service depends on Google Meet™, the Google Meet™ API and Our hosting provider, any of which may be unavailable or change without notice. Support is provided on a best-effort basis by email.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the Add-on from Your Google™ Account or Google Workspace™ organisation. We may suspend or discontinue the Service, or restrict Your access to it, at any time and without notice, including if You breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination do so.

Limitation of Liability

The Service is free. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the entire liability of the Company and its suppliers under these Terms, and Your exclusive remedy, is limited to 100 USD.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the Company or its suppliers be liable for any special, incidental, indirect or consequential damages whatsoever (including damages for loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, personal injury or loss of privacy) arising out of or related to the use of or inability to use the Service, or to any third-party software or services used with it, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. The Company is not liable for the acts, omissions, data processing or outages of Google or of Amazon Web Services.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties or the limitation of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so some of the above may not apply to You. In those jurisdictions liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

"AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" Disclaimer

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", with all faults and without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law the Company disclaims all warranties, express, implied or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement, and makes no representation that the Service will meet Your requirements, work with any other software or service, operate without interruption, or be error-free.

Governing Law and Disputes

The laws of the Country, excluding its conflict-of-law rules, govern these Terms and Your use of the Service. If You have a concern or dispute about the Service, You agree to first try to resolve it informally by contacting Us. If You are a consumer in the European Union, You also benefit from the mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which You reside.

United States Legal Compliance

You represent that You are not located in a country subject to a United States government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that You are not on any United States government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Severability, Waiver and Language

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, it will be modified to achieve its purpose as far as possible and the remaining provisions stay in force. A failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. If these Terms are translated, the English text prevails.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. For material changes We will make reasonable efforts to give at least 30 days' notice, for example through the Marketplace listing or a notice in the Add-on. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means You accept them.
